TIP: To host a mod with a different map you can select the maps with the editor, click Save, then edit your mod in your *MyDocuments\Battlefield 2\Server Configs\*ModName. Discord Server: This map includes 2 versions: - Normal version. To close the server click "Quit" on your standalone launcher, or just kill the DOS window. It should launch and start loading, and say your mod name etc in the top. Wait for it to load, and if you have friends like I did get your REAL IP here and copy paste that for them, theres a "connect to IP" button on multiplayer menu. Step 3: To launch your server, first click "Save" at the bottom (after making a new profile), and then click Start. Then you can choose from the maps that mod has. Since almost every mod I have seen automatically installs to its place, this should have yours listed (if not restart the launcher and check). If you are using a mod, then click the top left button that has a drop down menu and default says "Bf2". Note the map size will be based on the max players you have set (16=small, 32=medium, 64=large) and some maps (Like wake island) do not support smaller versions. Step 2: There are 2 tabs at the top, click the map settings and you can pick your maps that will be in rotation. You then simply click the level/levels that you WANT to edit, then with the Init config, you can edit pretty much anything in single player maps. You should also check "Internet" if playing on internet, obviously Server.zip is located in Battlefield 2 directory, mods, bf2, levels. All the ratio's arent exactly ratios, the bot ratio is the amount of bots on the opposing team (mec/china), having 150 with 15 bots would be (usa)5v10(mec/china). You should make a new profile and choose all your options. Step 1: To start up a server you should have the Dedicated Server Launcher in your start/programs/battlefield 2 folder, it has an icon of a rocket. We had to look through a few pages and put the pieces together, so maybe this will help someone in the future Added support for multiple gamemodes in single maplist for mods.Making this because me and 2 of my friends struggled for about an hour last night trying to find how to host a mod we downloaded as there were no servers for it, we googled a few times and it took us WAY to long to find information. Co-Op (Local Server) - Fixed the issue where no other players may join the server if the server host is kicked and banned. Fixed bug where a spawn point is shown as selected when it is not if player has spawned in during the preview round. Commander options are no longer available whilst commander is dead. Re-enabled unlocks on unranked servers. The new values for 16, 32 and 64 players are 6, 8 and 8 respectively. Adjusted the minimum number of players to start the round on ranked servers. Fixed the excessive damage taken by the Muscle Car. To change the maximum number of bots, you have to use the following statements: aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1. The second line determines whether the maximum number include the single player (I believe this is a boolean value). Co-Op bot console commands now function on local servers. First line sets the maximum number of bots. Fixed the bug that caused the player's arms to become invisible when switching weapons. Fixed the occasionnal red distance marker appearing on the ground. Fixed a server crash on Linux 32 when trying to rotate maps in Coop Mode. Fixed a crash in Co-op after a player is revived without a kit. Fixed a low reproducibility crash bug related to the vehicle drop. Fixed the filter by maps size option in the server browser. Also compatible with GermanAlpacas Uncensored Forgotten Hope 2 mod (must be installed in original fh2 mod folder, NOT FH2PSP). Mod based on the 2.57 release of Forgotten Hope 2. Fixed the server browser issues with updating info. IMPORTANT mods for single-player: Battlefield 2 SP Bot Changer: with this, youll be able to choose how many bots you want for each mod, you can increase the quantity of mod above the the in-game limit, you can also increase difficulty for the bots, doesnt changes much in my opinion though. While playable in co-op, this mini-mod was made solely with single player in mind. Fixed the missing server info on the map briefing screen. Another attempt at fixing the Red/Blue nametag bug. Fixed the Linux server hangs when trying to load a Special Forces Co-Op map. The vehicle drop has been modified to help prevent exploits such as blocking enemy vehicles, destroying vehicles and commander assets, or as an alternative to artillery. New level: Road to Jalalabaad (Conquest 16-32-64, Singleplayer, Co-op) Der Patch aktualisiert die Verkaufsversion (oder jede andere Version) von Battlefield 2 oder Battlefield 2: Special Forces auf v1.4.
